Records show diversity is one of the factors of growth of civil rights. In this regard, we can return to autism people; as I mentioned earlier this type of people such individuals were institutionalized or thought to be unable to contribute anything to society, and people often did not accept them like a normal person; therefore governments did not consider any rights for them. But gradually, with the advancement of knowledge and raising awareness and understanding of people, living conditions changed for them. General public have figured out that communication challenges and difficulties are common with autism–so they try to understand them and be patient. In this regard, people have realized if autism people misunderstand an issue, they should expand on what they said and clarify what they meant and be patient. Also, society comprehends to do not speak loudly or yell at them because it is really jarring to them; or even they know do not expect eye contact from this kind of people. Nowadays, people do not use the word “retarded” for autistic people because it is very hurtful for autistic people, and it is often used as an insult to dehumanize people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In this regard, bosses and managers try to hire them in their company and boost their confidence, and overall they can live in society like regular persons without any addition, Governments encourage autistic people, their caregivers, and community to embrace a situation of neurodiversity, accommodating autism as a difference in functioning rather than a disorder to be treated. Also, there are legal rights which are defined by governments that fully support them in the society. Human rights activists strive for a free of discrimination against people with this type of problem; also, they know where people with autism are valued, and like other members of society need full access to education, homes, health care, jobs, and families. For example, 25 years ago, President Bush signed the ADA contracts which landmark law that forbids discrimination against folks with disabilities in work, education, transportation and other public places. The law has impacted the lives of numerous Americans, as well as many with autism; briefly, the goal of all of these kinds of legal orders is to ensure that the rights, dignity, and respect of people with autism are protected. Therefore, when diversity is accepted, the society has a higher chance to be externally and internally peaceful due to the lack of awareness about other people. Having different groups of people is vital in any community or society, and missing variety can cause great misconceptions about other people, so it only makes sense to keep an open mind and open arms to everyone who we meet.

The other significant benefit of diversity is being modernized and developing modern technology. Specifically, If we have variety in society we will meet more people daily, and every single of them brings a new ideas about solving problems into our lives because each of them has different backgrounds and experiences; so by exploring new thoughts with an open mind, we open ourselves to use ingenuity and problem solving by considering the issues from other lenses. On this subject, we can come back to autism people again, and see how these nice people have caused to develop the modern technology. As you know, autism people look at the world from different perspectives, and this issue helps them to find a new solution. There are many famous figures in history may have been on the autism spectrum, but they were originator or developer of modern technology such as Nikola Tesla, Steve jobs, and Temple Grandin that I will briefly explain how they inspired the world. Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, mechanical engineer, physicist, electrical engineer, and futurist who is well known for his contributions to the plan of the modern alternating current (AC) electricity system; records say that Tesla had a severe sensitivity to light and sound, propensities to be reclusive, an obsession with the number three, and some kinds of phobias. There might be no autistic person alive currently more well-known than Temple Grandin. The Colorado State University professor and the author didn’t begin speaking until she was nearly four years old, and the physicians who diagnosed her suggested she be institutionalized; fortunately, her parents disagreed with those physicians. Grandin has been named one of TIME’s 100 most powerful people, and even she invented some mechanism and methods in animal husbandry, for example, she designed the mechanism for breeding cows on the farm. Steven Paul Jobs was an American businessperson, inventor, and industrial designer. He was the co-founder, chief executive officer (CEO) of Apple company, CEO and majority stockholder of Pixar, and a member of The Walt Disney Company’s board of directors following its acquisition of Pixar. Specifically, his apple products which contain very advanced artificial intelligent created a great transformation in the world, and let human to do some work that was very hard former or even impossible. Despite to all of these achievements, those who associate Steve Jobs with autism admit that it is pure speculation, but they are also quick to point out that speculation had grown more and more mainstream since the Apple genius’s death in 2011. Reviewing the historical figures like Nikola Tesla with modern analyses of their conduct and activities will never fail to be exciting, and it can also work for another resolution: motivation, for those thousands of children diagnosed with ASD, demonstrating that great things can be possible regardless of facing many obstacles.
